R devel - Oct 2001 - status of US mirror

When I try to go to

http://cran.us.r-project.org

I get sent to a location called "domains 4 sale" or something of that
ilk,
indicating that some "URL scavenger" has flagged it as expired. Has
something
happened, or is it just wishful thinking on some scavenger's part that the
URL is no longer pointing to the US CRAN mirror?

Well, Doug recently paid the dues for r-project.org and
cran.us.r-project.org is working OK from here. Some joker may have
hijacked some name servers though.
