I was going to open a ticket for this, but I already had most of the
code done, so I decided to just set it up.
Transaction reports can now generate summaries from their metrics.
Here''s a simple example from a script applying two
''exec'' instances:
Changes:
Total: 2
Resources:
Applied: 2
Out of sync: 2
Scheduled: 2
Total: 5
Time:
Exec: 0.02
Total: 0.02
I''m not totally sold on the format, and it''s skipping all
metrics
with ''0'' as a value, so the length could change and
it''s already a
bit long, but the basic idea of a summary is good.
I figured I''d start with this and give you guys the opportunity to
make recommendations on format.
If you''re wondering what data is available, you can look in the RRD
graphs or in transaction.rb.
Obviously, only in SVN for now.
