Hi I have the RCT 3KVA Axpert solar hybrid inverter. It is also known as the MPP Solar PIP-MS series, the IPS-4000WM and the Voltronic Axpert MKS. I am trying to monitor the inverter using NUT on a Raspberry Pi (I have tried Ubuntu as well with the same results). I have tried most of the drivers with no success. The inverter came with the ViewPower software so I assumed that my best chance would be with the nutdrv_qx driver since it states on the driver page ?if your UPS came with a software called Viewpower, chances are high that it works with this driver?. I have tried all the protocols but in the end I get the same error ?Device not supported!?. It does detect the device on VendorID 0665 and ProductID 5161 but I still get the error. If the device is really not supported then I will seek another solution but I would really like to use NUT so if I?m just doing something wrong I would like to fix the problem. Any advice would be highly appreciated. I amThis device could be supported by nutdrv_qx (subdriver 'voltronic-sunny') built starting from this branch: https://github.com/zykh/nut/tree/nutdrv_qx_voltronic-sunny_rebased+command Please note that this subdriver is not ready yet for primetime (I'm working on it with Nick, CC'ed. - Sorry for my delay, Nick, I'll review your new work as soon as possible), so there could still be some issues. Apart from that, the main problem is that NUT is, to some extent, still too much UPS-centric, so we'll have to change a couple of things in our source code before we can fully support this kind of devices.
Hi Thank you very much for the feedback. I will download and try to get it working on the Raspberry Pi.
