1.2 in production w/100+ phones?
...;ve been running 1.0.3 for about a year and it's been rock-solid. We'd like to upgrade to Realtime and 1.2, but I'm afraid of killing our stability. Obviously, we'd do it in stages (upgrade to 1.2, then realtime voicemail, etc), but I'm not sure if 1.2.1 is "ready for primetime" yet. Thanks. [LLVMdev] GC Statepoint Transition Status?
...d language, and have a question regarding the current and future support for precise GC in LLVM. It appears that gc.root is being phased out, with with breaking changes such as this: http://reviews.llvm.org/D7004 <http://reviews.llvm.org/D7004> Does this mean that gc.statepoint is ready for primetime (or will be for 3.7's release)? Also, will gc.root still be supported in 3.7 or later? My gut tells me to use statepoints, but after seeing a bunch of TODOs in its implementation in trunk (along with the docs still describing it as experimental), I'm unsure which intrinsics I should be us...

Mongrel 0.3.13.4 Pre-Release -- Docs and more Docs
Hi Everyone, Just want to get out another ping on the Mongrel pre-release saga. I''ve updated a bunch of the documentation to include documents people have donated and to beef up the FAQ for most of the questions people have asked over the past month. INSTALL gem install mongrel --source=http://mongrel.rubyforge.org/releases/ CHANGES * Fixed memory leak by switching to Sync rather

No errors are thrown my the page shows: Howdy, world! My name is Stuart Felenstein. This was verified at . So no time stamp showing. I went into IRB , did a Time.now() and it''s working

wxruby-swig on Windows & possible release
I''m trying to build wxruby-swig on windows with the idea of building a windows installer for it. I think that this would go a long way toward encouraging windows developers to try out wxruby-swig. What do you think? Are we far enough along to contemplate a release? Building wxruby-swig on windows is actually going pretty smoothly, but I want to build it with vc++ 7.1 to match the

email signup/splash page
Does anyone know the easiest way to put up a splash page where people can add their email addresses to be notified when the site is ready? I want regular visitors to be directed to this page. How can i have this and still be able to test/develop the site? I know a lot of web apps do this while still developing, so i''m looking for a solution that i''m sure exists, but i cant

nutdrv_qx - Device not supported
Hi I have the RCT 3KVA Axpert solar hybrid inverter. It is also known as the MPP Solar PIP-MS series, the IPS-4000WM and the Voltronic Axpert MKS. I am trying to monitor the inverter using NUT on a Raspberry Pi (I have tried Ubuntu as well with the same results). I have tried most of the drivers with no success. The inverter came with the ViewPower software so I assumed that my best chance

Rails bug reports & patches - why no action?
I have noticed at the dev.rubyonrails.org site that many tickets with pretty clear-cut bug reports/patches or feature enhancements don''t get any attention. They sit there for months at a time. Why is this? Are tickets from those that are not in rails-core deprioritized? Are there just not enough people that have the power to act on tickets? I know it''s not lack of test cases

[LLVMdev] RFC: How to represent SEH (__try / __except) in LLVM IR
Hi Reid, I saw your patch but haven’t looked closely at it yet. I do have a work in progress for the outlining. I expect to have something ready to share pretty soon, hopefully by the end of the week. It won’t be ready for primetime, as it’s making a whole lot of assumptions about the structure of the IR, but I think it will work with a sample IR file based on what you posted in your earlier SEH review. I expect that it will be a useful point of reference for discussion and that I should be able to quickly refactor it into so...

I am This device could be supported by nutdrv_qx (subdriver 'voltronic-sunny') built starting from this branch: https://github.com/zykh/nut/tree/nutdrv_qx_voltronic-sunny_rebased+command Please note that this subdriver is not ready yet for primetime (I'm working on it with Nick, CC'ed. - Sorry for my delay, Nick, I'll review your new work as soon as possible), so there could still be some issues. Apart from that, the main problem is that NUT is, to some extent, still too much UPS-centric, so we'll have to change a couple of thi...

Running migrations without shell access
Hi folks, Until my app is ready for primetime, I''m deploying on a shared server without shell access. So I''m wondering how to create/modify my db schema using migrations. I''m guessing I could create a method in a controller that calls my Migrations classes, and just hit that URL to migrate, but can''t seem...

[LLVMdev] llvm-gcc bootstrap failures
I've had failing llvm-gcc bootstraps on x86_64 for about a week now. Hi: i''ve tried this on three macs (tiger, panther, etc).. and my ROR is up to date on each. My models and controllers aren''t displaying all my mysql db fields. When I run script/generate scaffold Planner ... it builds the controller, model, and all the rest. Summary of "Trixbox vs. custom install"
Hello everybody. First of all thanks to all the people giving their opinion on the subject I proposed: "Trixbox vs. custom install". You've all been very helpful. I try to summarize what has emerged from the various messages. Forgive me if I miss or forget something or if I simplify too much some of your messages... - Elman Efendiyev says that you should install from sources if

Distribution Fixes
I have two patches enclosed below. One for 'ogg' and the other for 'vorbis'. Basically, I was trying to do a 'make dist' and then 'rpm -ta <filename>' to try and generate some nice RPMs for vorbis stuff. Basically in the ogg .spec file, I move the 'libogg.a' and 'libogg.so' stuff into the devel package (all other packages I've seen do
