NUT and UPS TS Shara
I added the sgs subdriver to nutdrv_qx: https://github.com/zykh/nut/tree/ts-shara (I assumed Rodolfo - surname? - is the author of the code, do you want me to change it?) I changed a couple of things: - https://github.com/zykh/nut/commit/ebae0e0e499e7983b4f26562451255a39abb023b#diff-38221201bf335e4da4e2dc77d5c6b3c2R478 - https://github.com/zykh/nut/commit/eba...

building NUT on Mac OS X Yosemite (website/documentation)
...our (shell) version of echo doesn't support/need the 'e' option - I didn't think of this when I first wrote the makefile.. shame on me! So, I think this can be solved replacing all the occurrences (3) of 'echo -e' with 'printf' in Makefile.am, see: https://github.com/zykh/nut-website/tree/issue7 Does it solve the problem? Are there other hiccups?

Are there other hiccups? As expected, printf works for me on OS X 10.9 (Mavericks) as well. The only thing we need to watch out for is when the parameters to printf have '%' embedded in them. Probably not a problem for the DDL, since...

Adding drivers to NUT?
Dear Daniele, nice to meet you, I'm a collegue of Gabriele. The problem with "blazer_usb" driver ("blazer_ser" works correctly) is related to the following commands: - "F" and "I": when the KRAULER subdriver check these UPS answers it uses wrong constants to check the lenght of the received packets, so these commands are considered as "not

...ded in them. Probably not a problem for the DDL, since '%' has special meaning in URLs, but using 'printf %s' should avoid problems down the road. mmh.. if we want to add support for '%'s we could do something like this (not sure if it's worth doing): https://github.com/zykh/nut-website/tree/issue7 Can you test it on OS X preferably dropping in the ddl dir also some '%' files and updating driver.list.in accordingly? Something like the following ones should be enough: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxWv_9cok7BKVDcxdWlPX2tTM00/view?usp=sharing Second thought o...

...missed this line: https://github.com/networkupstools/nut/blob/master/drivers/bestups.c#L396 Apparently, the bypass/boost/buck bit is not reliable also when the UPS is performing a battery test (6th bit set to 1) or a shutdown is active (7th bit set to 1). Now it should be fixed: https://github.com/zykh/nut/tree/bestups I noticed that your UPS seems to support the 'M' command as a query of some sort (it replies '0'): now I'm curious as to what it does mean. It could be the 0-9 index of the user-settable voltage limits, page 19 of: http://www.gruberpower.com/pdf-files/Best%20P...

nutdrv_qx hangs after send: QS
Hi, I am trying to get NUT 2.7.2 working on my Solaris 11.2 system with a PowerWalker 2000 VI PSW UPS. I have carefully configured the software such that it 'works' using custom values in the ups.conf file: driver = nutdrv_qx port = auto desc = "my UPS" protocol = voltronic-qs subdriver = cypress vendorid = 0665 productid = 5161 The problem I'm experiencing is that after a

Thanks once again I think we can say that this is as far as we can go with this UPS. It would be interesting to know if any other UPS's which appear to hal...

nutdrv_qx - Device not supported
Hi I have the RCT 3KVA Axpert solar hybrid inverter. It is also known as the MPP Solar PIP-MS series, the IPS-4000WM and the Voltronic Axpert MKS. I am trying to monitor the inverter using NUT on a Raspberry Pi (I have tried Ubuntu as well with the same results). I have tried most of the drivers with no success. The inverter came with the ViewPower software so I assumed that my best chance

Adding drivers to NUT?
Dear Daniele, I have some news regarding the Driver: I applied the patch you sent me (https://github.com/zykh/nut/tree/issue-441) and it works correctly (obviously in Level 5 of Debug I see "missing CR...etc.."). As for now there are 2 modification I'd like to suggest you: - For Online Type UPSs the Megatec protocol describes that the battery voltage is provided in the form of V per Cell,...
