Logcheck devel - Jun 2008 - make install

I want to install logcheck 1.2.45 now that I blew off 1.1.1.
After downloading to my Slackware 12.0 system I see not "install" file
to make as described in INSTALL.
There is no install file to be found.
Please advise.
