MIPS Technologies has a new open position in its Sunnyvale, CA headquarters for
an LLVM QA Engineer. This engineer will work on testing, QA, building, and
benchmarking of the clang/llvm and gcc compilers. They will be responsible for
generating test cases to augment already existing test suites, and to test
features such as debugging. This engineer will get requirements from the
compiler developers and also come up with others from their own thinking about
testing. This engineer will help to gather open source code that can be used to
further test the compilers.
The right candidate for this position will have strong, demonstrated skills in
C/C++, scripting, and assembly language programming. Experience with the
following tools and technologies will further qualify this engineer:

bash
perl
python
tcl
autoconf
m4
dejagnu
expect
mysql
php
linux
git
subversion
Knowledge and experience with compiler internals and related tools is a plus, as
is experience with MIPS or ARM architectures, and experience with plumhall or
perennial test suites.
