Hi there I''ve searched the archives and googled for a solution with no success - has anyone successfully built iproute2 under kernel 2.6.1, or 2.6.2? I''ve tried various releases, each compile aborting with different errors. If this is wishful thinking at this stage, does anyone have a suitable solution for the "Routing for multiple uplinks" scenario? ie. traffic which arrives on a particular interface is setup to leave via the same interface. I have 2 NICs, each on a different subnet, both connected to the Net. Will probably be running 2 IPs on the first and 1 on the second. Hi there I sent this earlier today, but haven''t seen it on the list. I appologise if this ends up being a duplicate. Without knowing what errors you''re having, I cannot even speculate as to what''s wrong... By the way, the newest I found was iproute2-2.4.7-now-ss020116-try.tar.gz. Is that the latest, or am I not finding a more up-to-date mirror? -Corey _______________________________________________ LARTC mailing list / LARTC@mailman.ds9a.nl http://mailman.ds9a.nl/mailman/listinfo/lartc HOWTO: http://lartc.org/

Without knowing what errors > you''re having, I cannot even speculate as to what''s > wrong...Sorry, you have a point ;-) Ok, running 2.6.1 here, but really need to compile for a (remote) machine with 2.6.2 on it. I''ve attempted to upgrade my local installation to 2.6.2, but results in an irritating buzzing noise! Dell Latitude C600 laptop. So, until I resolve this issue, or am physically at the box running 2.6.2, it''d be pointless to give errors. Will post again when I have the errors (if any) under kernel 2.6.2. Thanks for responding.> iproute2-2.4.7-now-ss020116-try.tar.gz.
