Does xen-4.2.0 support VGA passthrough with the virtual machine created by xl command?
Hi, everyone! I am working on xen-4.2.0 with spice remote connect. My host is Fedora 14 and guest is win7. I have installed spice package and now I can connect to guest by spice client. For better graphics experience, I want to try the VGA passthrough. With spice tool, I have to create a VM by xl command, and now I am wondering if it supports VGA passghrouth? If so, how should I test it ?

FreeBSD 8.3-R sysinstall does not "see" disks that are recognized during boot
I've got a new supermicro server I'm trying to get FreeBSD on. It uses the Intel c602 chipset, and it's my understanding that support for that chipset (c60X) was recently added via the isci driver. Ok, great, that explains why 8.2-R and 9.0-R didn't see the drives. So, I grabbed the memstick image of 8.3-RELEASE that is on the ftp server, booted it up, and sure enough, as the

iproute2 and kernel 2.6.1/2
Hi there I''ve searched the archives and googled for a solution with no success - has anyone successfully built iproute2 under kernel 2.6.1, or 2.6.2? I''ve tried various releases, each compile aborting with different errors. If this is wishful thinking at this stage, does anyone have a suitable solution for the "Routing for multiple uplinks" scenario? ie. traffic

CentOS 7 1708 won't boot after grub2 update
Hi all, This is the third fresh install of CentOS 7 1708 the last two months that won't boot after a regular "yum update" just after the fresh install has finished. I've never had this problem before, it has just worked. The installs are on OEM's that have previously run CentOS 6.9 x64. Am I missing something here? -- BW, Sorin

PCI passthrough fails in virsh: iommu group is not viable
I would really appreciate some pointers on what I am doing wrong here. I have a need to run multiple virtual guests which have each their own GPU and some USB controllers passed-through. I am able to run one of the guests like this (assuming vfio stuff has happened elsewhere), but I would prefer to use virsh: kvm -M q35 -m 8192 -cpu host, kvm=off \ -smp 4,sockets=1,cores=4,threads=1 \ -bios
