Flac - Sep 2007 - Vorbisgain / Flac

have linux install on my laptop, and decide to clean up my music collection,
found allot of my music that has replaygain tags, and allot don't.

How would I fix the ones that don't have any replaygain tags, ?
have flac and flac123 ogg ogg123 vorbistools and vorbisgain..etc, 
all installed, can play music fine, but when I hit a song, that doesn't have
replaygain tags, need to turn down the volume.

Amarok is my main player.

Do I need to re-tag? what would I use ?

for FLAC files you can use the --add-replay-gain switch to
metaflac:
http://flac.sourceforge.net/documentation_tools_metaflac.html#metaflac_shorthand_add_replay_gain
