Dear All can someone confirm this bug please ? I am using Thunderbird 1.07, TB 1.5.0.4, Horde/IMP webmail as test clients, all running on FC4. Server is 1.0RC6 on CentOS 4 with maildir-sep set to ';' To reproduce: In your favourite mail client: 1. Create a top-level mail folder "atest" 2. Rename "atest" to "atest-extra" (basically hyphen<anything>) Result: Error about mailbox "atest-extra" does not exist If you refresh the folder list you see a new folder called "atest-extra-extra" (read all about it). Anyone else see this or is just me ? Many thanks Ian -- Ian Thurlbeck http://www.stams.strath.ac.uk/ Statistics and Modelling Science, University of Strathclyde Livingstone Tower, 26 Richmond Street, Glasgow, UK, G1 1XH Tel: +44 (0)141 548 3667 Fax: +44 (0)141 552 2079
I can confirm this behavior on Dovecot 1.0rc7 and the default (.) folder separator. -Vince On Wed, August 23, 2006 8:35 am, Ian Thurlbeck wrote:> > Dear All > > can someone confirm this bug please ? > > I am using Thunderbird 1.07, TB 1.5.0.4, Horde/IMP webmail as test > clients, > all running on FC4. > > Server is 1.0RC6 on CentOS 4 with maildir-sep set to ';' > > To reproduce: > > In your favourite mail client: > > 1. Rename "atest" to "atest-extra" (basically hyphen<anything>)Even the hyphen isn't needed, just the same string in the beginning.
