Does anybody know of a script of a simple method of converting mbox mail stores to maildirs? I'm moving from an old pop3 system to imap and after installing about half our office with mboxes have found that mbox does not support subfolders which some people like to use. Is there any simple way of converting? I can go to each individual account and "manually" convert swaping data around with Firefox, but I was wondering if there was an easier way. Thanks. __________________________________ Discover Yahoo! Stay in touch with email, IM, photo sharing and more. Check it out! http://discover.yahoo.com/stayintouch.html

http://batleth.sapienti-sat.org/projects/mb2md/ Google is your friend. I used this to convert UW mbox to dovecot IMAP on my OpenBSD box last christmas. Worked like a charm. I'm movingI did so with mb2md: http://batleth.sapienti-sat.org/projects/mb2md/ about 500 users. There were some glitches, but I do not remember, which ones exactly. But it was an older release. For the _few_ problems (I counted the mails in the mboxes and the target MailDir's) I used UW-Imap's mailutil; latter one copies the mails using IMAP/POP only and does not process the files directly.
