I'll have to check when I'm back at work for details on it - don't have my VPN login yet. I'm going into work tomorrow to migrate another filesystem to the ZFS so I'll try to remember then. I am pretty happy with it so far - nice system with a relatively simple but powerful GUI. There is also a cryptic command line access level for managing it. -- ?Don't eat anything you've ever seen advertised on TV? ? ? ? ?? - Michael Pollan, author of "In Defense of Food"

I cannot implement quota on my fileserver due to convention. And this results in storage capacity issue. Luckily most of the files stored by the users are text files so compression helps a lot. I've been using lessFS and zfs-fuse and pretty satisfied. It saves space a lot. I just thought that the Zfs appliance would be even more beneficial for my need.
