CentOS - Feb 2008 - nautilus quit

I have a client who emailed me earlier and said that his desktop is blank.  The
toolbar is present but all of his desktop shortcuts are gone and he has a black
desktop.

I just ssh-ed into his machine and discovered that nautilus is not running for
his username.

So... how can I fix that?

Have him log out and log back in again? Check for errors in the
user's ~/.xsession-errors to try to determine why it might of crashed.
