Hi, I have CentOS 5 with the XFCE-4.4 window manager installed. (BTW, I've tried many XFCE-centered distros before, and CentOS offers by far the cleanest implementation). Two questions for that. 1) I've seen various HOWTO's about how to display Samba shares with the Thunar file manager. Did anyone manage to do this with CentOS? 2) Is there some HOWTO about configuring that nice 3D-desktop? I have an older NVidia card, a GeForce2. I wonder if this is enough. Cheers, Niki -- Dyslexics have more fnu.

Did anyone manage to do this with CentOS?It looks like Thunar does not support network browsing. This can be done perhaps by mounting Windows shares. Then you can browse them as if they are local.
