Dear SAMBA Gurus: This is my first samba installation. So please bear with me. I set up my UNIX id the way my Windows 2000 ID is. I am able to map my home directory. But I am unable to write to it. When I went to the UNIX server running samba and set the permission to 777 I am able to write to the directory which is mapped. The UNIX server is a HP Server. This is how my SMB.CONF file entries

When I try to read a .wmv file, I get the error message: "Totem could not play 'file://tmp/F15.wmv'. You do not have a decoder installed to handle this file. I am trying to install on a CentOS5 box http://www.mjmwired.net/resources/files/msttcorefonts-2.0-1.noarch.rpm then did an xfs restart, even an alt-ctrl-backspace. The fonts are located in /usr/share/fonts/msttcorefonts/ with the owner root & 644. I can't see them when I go to preferences > fonts. I have another computer with CentOS5, the fonts are installed and I can use them w/o
