Just know that the pre-sale evaluation was of the nForce4, and didn't
take the nForce Pro 2200 and 2200+2050 designs into consideration.

E.g., the nForce Pro 2200 has 1.0GBps (2) PCI-X 1.0 channels.  Any
off-chipset NIC is typically connected to those, so there is not the same
bottleneck as a legacy 0.125GBps PCI channel like on the nForce4.

I'm trying RHEL4 U1 on an HP xw9300 (nForce4).
So far, I can't get dhcp to work after it pxe boots (nfs install).
I installed from CD's and everthing seems fine so far.  Haven't tried 
nvidia's driver yet, but I know the x86_64 driver is going to tell me I 
have to run Kernel 2.6.11 or greater.

Is it running at 1000Mbps or 100Mbps?
If the former, get the nForce package and switch to the "nvnet"
driver.
Let me know if it doesn't fix the problem (then it's an off-chipset
NIC).

?  I didn't understand that last point.  ?
