In addition to bug 70972 (Modesetting failure at 1280x800), there may be another bug affecting the NVIDIA GeForce 7150M/nForce 630M. I think that this is a separate issue from the above. When using KDE or Ubuntu Unity with nouveau on this GPU, there were artifacts and missing UI elements. I think that this is probably more likely to be a rendering issue rather than a display issue. I am not sure if this issue still exist...

Has anyone installed Linux (CentOS or other) on a Tyan K8SE (S2892) motherboard? I'd really like to hear your experiences -- with this board or Nvidia's nForce Pro chipset in general. I'm looking to build a new server using this board but would like to find some other experiences first. Hi all, again i tryed Xen for normal home / development usage ... again i ran into a problem with it. There seems to be a problem with Xen 3.0.2 and nFORCE Motherboards. I used Xen 2 with nFORCE to and had a similar problem with performance earlyer and the List helped by telling to compile the Chipset Modules into the Kernel. Hi The setup, as in the subject, is supposed to boot a Winpe to install xp to a clean PC. I use the Ramdisk method (ie PXELinux pases the setup on to the M$ pxe loader and and boots WinPE) It works perfectly with evry other chipset, but Nvidias NForce 4. (tested 15 different) With NF4 it loads up well but the M$ PnP routine detects the Network management bus wrong (nvidia specific approach to first load a bus driver and after that the real NIC driver) I wouldn't mind too much, as the Nvidias chipset is known to be weird but...
