hello, I just installed 2 brand new x100p cards into my linux system. Everything compliled and worked fine from the first try. Hoewver the phone lines I will use with this system have groundstart signaling. I have tried to change the zaptel.conf and zapata.conf to use this type of signaling but ztcfg gives me an error every time with the new configuration. Bellow are the config files and the actual error. Again, everything works fine with the default signaling (fxsks) zaptel.conf --- loadzone = us defaultzone = us fxsgs=1-2 zapata.conf --- [channels] callwaiting=yes callwaitingcallerid=yes threewaycalling=yes transfer=yes cancallforward=yes echocancel=yes echocancelwhenbridged=no rxgain=0.0 txgain=0.0 immediate=no context=default signalling=fxs_gs channel=1-2 and the error I am getting is: -- [root@voip root]# ztcfg -vvv Zaptel Configuration ===================== Channel map: Channel 01: FXS Groundstart (Default) (Slaves: 01) Channel 02: FXS Groundstart (Default) (Slaves: 02) 2 channels configured. ZT_CHANCONFIG failed on channel 1: Invalid argument (22) Did you forget that FXS interfaces are configured with FXO signalling and that FXO interfaces use FXS signalling? [root@voip root]# --- I don't know why I am getting this the only choice I have is to have the phone company change the signaling but before doing that I was thinking that maybe somebody used this signaling before and can help. thank you, gabriel

[Asterisk-Users] x100p and groundstart signaling - help
I'm not at my box right now, but if I remember correctly, I got this exact same error when I tried playing around with groundstart. At the time, I figured I was doing something wrong, or that my line did not support gs, and the card somehow knew that. I was able to configure for the other two types of signalling just fine. --shaun --- gabriel <lists@bayintegrated.net> wrote:> hello, > I just installed 2 brand new x100p cards into my > linux system.
