asterisk users - Apr 2003 - Any special kernel patches for good S100U performance?

Hi,

I've added an S100U to my * setup.

I've tried it using both uhci and usb-uhci USB driver modules.  I both
cases the audio is occasionally glitchy.  In addition, usb-uhci
complains

Apr 18 19:06:21 bob kernel: usb-uhci.c: iso_find_start: gap in seamless
isochronous scheduling

uhci.o doesn't log this error, but the glitches still occur.

Perhaps there are some latency patches or suchlike that I should apply
to my kernel?

I'm currently running 2.4.17.
