New package to query the OpenTripPlanner (OTP) API
...work by specified mode. otp_get_times() - in its simplest use case gets the journey time between an origin and destination by specified mode(s). It can also return more detailed information, breaking down the journey by transit time, walking time, waiting time and the number of transfers. otp_get_isochrone() - returns one or more travel time isochrones for a location in GeoJSON format. These can be generated either from or to the specified location. The package currently supports a subset of the parameters that are available for the OTP 'planner' and 'isochrone' API resources. Any special kernel patches for good S100U performance?
Hi, I've added an S100U to my * setup. I've tried it using both uhci and usb-uhci USB driver modules. I both cases the audio is occasionally glitchy. In addition, usb-uhci complains Apr 18 19:06:21 bob kernel: usb-uhci.c: iso_find_start: gap in seamless isochronous scheduling uhci.o doesn't log this error, but the glitches still occur. Perhaps there are some latency patches or suchlike that I should apply to my kernel? I'm currently running 2.4.17. Thanks, Steve

USB frontend and backend disappeared from latest unstable tree
Hi Folks, I just did a "hg pull -u" on my unstable tree and realized that the USB virtualization related code disappeared (e.g. /linux-2.6-xen-sparse/drivers/xen/usbfront/ and /linux-2.6-xen-sparse/drivers/xen/usbback/ directories are not present). I traced the changes to the changeset 7027:06d84bf87159 which was committed on september 22 by djm@kirby.fc.hp.com. Could someone please

Having problems with S100U
...rks the "best" on (out of the two I tested with). When using usb-uhci, the device is detected fine, but almost immediately and at a periodic interval around 2-3 seconds thereafter, a message is dumped onto the console and into the kernel logs: usb-uhci.c: iso_find_start: gap in seamless isochronous scheduling Right before this message is dumped to the screen (and logs), a "glitch" will happen to the handset connected to the S100U with the effect noticed being that no audio or dialtone or key presses or general input/output to/from the handset is processed. It's making it ve...

TCP port, VPN and resolving the cutting voice problem
Hi All; Can I run the IAX on TCP port instead of UDP port? If I ran IAX in TCP port, and in case my network was having a lot of users doing browse on the internet and downloading, so in that case and if the IAX used TCP port, so the voice will be better than using UDP (because in TCP the lost packets will be resend while in TCP it will not which will cause the voice to be cutting)? Same thing

Rule of Thumb for zfs server sizing with (192) 500 GB SATA disks?
I''m trying to get maybe 200 MB/sec over NFS for large movie files (need large capacity to hold all of them). Are there any rules of thumb on how much RAM is needed to handle this (probably RAIDZ for all the disks) with zfs, and how large a server should be used? The throughput required is not so large, so I am thinking an X4100 M2 or X4150 should be plenty. This message posted from

Panics and freeze using age0
I'm running FreeBSD 7.1-PRERELEASE over Asus P5Q motherboard. Such board comes with an nic requiring age0 driver. When the nic is under load, such trasferring big amount of data over gigabit connection (let's say some gigabyte backups), the computer hangs, sometimes with panic, sometimes freezing. Before that i was using an Intel nic with em0 driver and 7.0-Stable#2.. and that
