Rails - Jan 2006 - favicon.ico placement

<link rel="shortcut icon" href="/public/favicon.ico" >

This causes a routing error, and the icon doesn''t load.  Should I add 
something to my routes.rb file, or should I change the href in the above 
link?

Link your favicon using /favicon.ico

The public dir is your document_root, so with your url its looking for a
controller named public.
