R help - Aug 2006 - matrix "Adjoint" function

Hi there,

I'm new to R and despite searching today, I can't
find a function which will compute the adjoint of
a matrix A. Does this adjoint function exist in R?

I don't think so, but the adjoint matrix is also known as the
conjugate transpose and we do have t() and Conj(). (If your matrix is
real, t() will do.)

Sorry but I wasn't very clear in my previous message.

I want to compute the adjoint of a real matrix A,
which is the transpose of the cofactor matrix of A.

Does R have a function which will compute the cofactor of
matrix A or the adjoint of a real matrix A?
