R help - Nov 2003 - read SAS format file from R

Can you please piont me how to read SAS format file
from R (is it possible?)?

Only export libraries, see the foreign package. Not even SAS itself
has been able to read its own dataset formats across platforms... (at
least until recently. New stuff in SAS v.9.)
