[R] Is there a way of getting R up and running on an IPAQ 3870?
Hi, I was wondering (as a trawl has not turned up anything) whether anyone has any ideas regarding this matter? Does a version exist? Has anyone been able to compile such a version? Any pointers would be most welcome, as the ability to put an IPAQ to really productive use would be great. Alternatively does anyone know of any other similar software to carry out EDA and small scale post hoc analyses on these devices (free or reasonably priced - I'm a poorly paid Civil Servant who's just shelled out hard earned cash on this thing)? I understand an IPAQ runs a version of Windows CE aka Pocket Windows? If so 1) We don't know of a suitable compiler. 2) I believe that even under Linux on that or similar hardware there are problems with floating-point support. So, it needs someone with a lot of time to get it working, I guess.
