R help - Mar 2001 - Ctrl-C in ESS

Dear list,

usually, I can break a running R process with Ctrl-C. This does not
seem to work if R was started from within ESS. Is there anything
analogous?

In 5.1.13 (yeah, I know, it's getting old) it's on C-c C-c or by using
the Signals menu.

(And not to put too fine a point on it: There is also an ESS mailing
list y'know...)
