Hi, I am looking for a good single server management gui for a Xen server on Debian Lenny. I know I can use xen-tools but I need my wife to be able to manage this server when I am on a trip. I have tied to look on search engines but all the interfaces seem to be aimed at clusters. I only have this one server. Does anyone have a suggestion for me? I would like he rot check the status of vm''s restart if needed and also create new ones if needed. I have been using vmware server 2 until now and their interface was great. Re: [Xen-users] Suggested GUI management interface
You can also try ConVirt. OpenNebula is another VM manager, but this one without GUI. Cheers, N. Fajar A. Hi I will probebly use it for access to the vm''s from a local network. I was thinking more for access via a webpage or something similar Thanks for the tip though Thanks Lance On 02/05/09 01:55, Fajar A. Re: [Xen-users] Suggested GUI management interface
Hey Lance, Can you report back and give your first impressions? I only tested it once some time ago, and also looking for the best bet. BTW, I think NAGIOS also has a plugin to deal with VM''s. Being this soft well renowned by its monitoring capabilities, its also not a bad choice. Nevertheless, do not know if its possible to interact directly with the VM instances (restart,...). Probably not. See u, N.
