This is probably off-topic, but the question is very important. I have several samba file servers. I usually use ext4/LVM or ZFS. I need to set extended ACL, but I can't find any software for this. Over the network (like as windows explorer), I didn't find anything at all. Locally, I use setfacl\getfacl over ssh. It's not very visual, and you can't delegate it to a Windows administrator ;) you have to do it yourself. If switch to 5 (graphical) runlevel (this is madness on the server), probably i can use eiciel or mate-eiciel software. Maybe anybody know about cli software for set/edit extended acl? -- *Anton*

I'm especially fond of the fact that, when i run it (with state.apply) it will reset all ACLs to what I want, no matter if someone's modifications might have slipped in. Not sure if it fits your case, though. Also, unless you have a state management software (Salt or equivalent) already set up, it will be no small task, bye av.
