Hi everyone, I'd like a nice frontend to setfacl and getfacl. I'm getting lost with those ACL commands. I've found Eiciel which is a nice gnome frontend to setup ACLs. The problem is it need gtkmm-2.4, and centos seems to have gtkmm-2.0 only. Is there a safe way to upgrade? Do you have a repo to suggest? Or anyone knows of another graphical ACL editor with more conservative dependancies. Thanks Yanik

This happens however I connect to the server, I have tried Nautilus, Caja, Eiciel and Gigolo. None of them can display the permissions of a file or a directory on a samba server. Hi, I have to solve an apparently simple permission problem, and I don't know if it's the sunny weather or birdsong, well... I just can't figure it out. Here goes. I have a bunch of users in a public library. Some are "administrators": they handle the library, write the docs for everyone, etc. Then you have the "agents", who take care of lending books and
