You quit Samba very noisily. If you don't remember doing so, just look at the subject line. Don't look back. Go to your beloved Windows CIFS. You've found somebody better: Move on and don't keep pestering your ex. To everyone else: Around the turn of the century Samba had a web-app (CGI probably) to configure smb.conf. Is something like that still in existence? SteveT Steve Litt September 2016 featured book: Twenty Eight Tales of Troubleshooting http://www.troubleshooters.com/28

I hope this is my last post with this matter!wait a minute - he's been doing this since 1998 and he still compares Windows tools favorably to the way Linux software configured and managed? guess in all his years being an sysadmin he never tried to sort by IP in win 7 DNS mmc console (come down everybody - MS says it's a feature, not a bug :-))? anyone else thinks he should've never picked a sysadmin as a career?> > 2016-09-28 9:56 GMT-03:00 Mauricio Tavares <raubvogel at gmail.com>: > >> On Wed, Sep 28, 2016 at 7:26 AM, Niels Dettenbach via samba >> <samba at lists.samba.org> wrote: >>> Am Mittwoch, 28.
