We have added code to the development version of NUT to detect a similar model
(a 6000VA with the same VendorID/ProductID):

but that hasn't made it into a release yet. Can you rebuild NUT from source?
From there, it should be straightforward to add that commit to an RPM or .deb
build as a patch. Instructions for doing a basic build of NUT on Debian/Ubuntu
are here:
