R help - Oct 2013 - problems with package COZIGAM

Dear All I am having problems to install the package COZIGAM.

Despite I have the update version of R (3.0.2) when I try to load the package I
cannot find it in the list of available packages.

If I try to install it from a local zip file I do get this error message:

Error in read.dcf(file.path(pkgname, "DESCRIPTION"),
c("Package", "Type")) :
  cannot open the connection
In addition: Warning messages:
1: In unzip(zipname, exdir = dest) : error 1 in extracting from zip file
2: In read.dcf(file.path(pkgname, "DESCRIPTION"),
c("Package", "Type")) :
  cannot open compressed file 'COZIGAM_2.0-3.tar.gz/DESCRIPTION',
probable reason 'No such file or directory'

My response was intended to raise questions that you have not yet considered.
You should be asking yourself "why?".

There are a bunch of other questions still outstanding as well (which will
become apparent if you ever should read the Posting Guide).  I suspect you will
find that even if you post the code you used to do the package installation that
we will not be able to offer further assistance. Removal of a package from CRAN
means that there were problems with its compilation or installation on a
standard R setup.
