I like to get another developer release out before the end of the week. The only thing left on my list of things that should be fixed before this release is the y-constrain functionality in the move plugin, which is currently broken on multi-head setups. If you have any patches you want to get in or bugs that you like to see fixed before this release, let me know and I'll see what I can do. -David

I see that Fedora keep patching compiz[1] - is it planned to merge these upstream at some point, or is compiz/AIGLX officially unsupported?
I would like to see if possible some patches to return the list of possible string restrictions as an array rather than being appended to the end. Ben found that the current way means it is harder to properly work with dbus. His comments are here (along with a quick patched dbus) http://forum.go-compiz.org/viewtopic.php?t=285 Also it would be nice if the option to remove the switcher window could be applied. Not sure whether this is a bug or not: I can't toggle scale mode with the initiate key or the initiate corner. I'd like to be able to do it because it means that if I engage scale by mistake I don't need to take the time to look at all the thumbnails and work out which window I was using (sometimes this can take a while!) - I can just repeat the scale action. Dan Winship added the toggle from corners ages ago (http://webcvs.freedesktop.org/xorg/app/compiz/plugins/scale.c?revision=1.12&view=markup) but I don't know whether it is left out now on purpose, or if it never got added back after some architectural changes... If it is a configuration issue then can someone please put me out of my misery, I can't _see_ anything in gconf :) Thanks Who On 12/27/06, David Reveman <davidr@novell.com> wrote:> I like to get another developer release out before the end of the week. > The only thing left on my list of things that should be fixed before > this release is the y-constrain functionality in the move plugin, which > is currently broken on multi-head setups. > > If you have any patches you want to get in or bugs that you like to see > fixed before this release, let me know and I'll see what I can do. > > -David > > _______________________________________________ > compiz mailing list > compiz@lists.freedesktop.org > http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/compiz >
