Snom 360 record button?
.... Has anyone managed to make the
record button on the snom 360 fire off the Monitor() application? I
don't see a bounty, and googling for "snom 360 record button asterisk"
returns tons of product specification pages. (Joy!) I don't see a bounty
for it, and the only mention I _see_ on the wiki is "one touch RECORD
button usuable only with special PBX support via SIP INFO method" which
isn't much of an answer.
I assume the answer is no because of this, but I'm hoping against hope
this is just because I don't have anything set up for it:
SIP Debugging...

Oplock Problems: Start HERE!!!!!!!!!

What the oplock break request(sample above) is saying is that the system
cannot _see_ a file so it is trying to broadcast to other systems to let it
go(this is my simple interpretation). You may see that the oplocks are
directed to the same process that the trouble is on. In other words the PC
having the problems is oplock break requesting itself.
The issue is odd, or troublesome n...

Browsing woes (con't)
As I posted a few days ago,

I've since gone through the fault tree again, and found one that I missed.
But it still doesn't give me any clues.

Kingsoft Writer, etc.
...emed to install OK, but it won't open any file, and it won't open even
a blank file so you
could write on it. (Just looking at Writer, for the moment--have not
looked at the Spreadsheet or the Presentations--don't know how to use
the latter, anyway).
In addition, it doesn't even _see_ the files in a directory full of
them. So, does anybody reading here know if this can be made to work,
and if so, how? It's
supposed to be a clone of MS Office for the three programs I
mentioned--Writer, Spreadsheet, and Presentations. Based on PCWorld,
I'm expecting it to be

then I can give them a DISA to allow them to dial a regular call, as
if the auto-ringdown didn't happen.
- This feature becomes useful now that we have some phones that
support "SUBSCRIBE" methods to allow other phones to show who is on
what lines. We can _see_ who is on the line, but there is no ability
to add other lines to the call without transferring to a MeetMe
(which then causes call control to be lost, and is a hassle, etc.
etc. etc.)

Unable to browse
I have two problems running Samba on Solaris 2.51, Samba version 1.9.16p11. 1) When browsing the CADCAM group, which is where the Sun group is, the CADCAM name shows up on Explorer, but when I click on the group to browse the contents, the '+' disapears and the group apears to be empty. We can, however, map drives using \\sun01\sharname' directly.
2) When we dial into the network

custom REST action - template question
Hallo phorum,
i have custom rest action.
routes.rb:
map.resources :schools, :collection => { :graduations => :get }
SchoolsController:
def graduations
@schools = School.graduation(true)
end
link somewhere in navigation:
<%= link_to ''Schools with graduation'', graduations_schools_path %>
All works OK for me, but Rails needs (of course) a template for

next release
I like to get another developer release out before the end of the week.
The only thing left on my list of things that should be fixed before
this release is the y-constrain functionality in the move plugin, which
is currently broken on multi-head setups.
If you have any patches you want to get in or bugs that you like to see
fixed before this release, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Session access interfers with other model access
Sorry to be such a bother but I''m not getting this.
I have two models: Emrec and Session (I''m using AR for session mgmt.) In my
worker I can access the Emrec model and delete a record, AS LONG AS I don''t
try to access the Session model. With the Session model access commented
out as below, the Emrec record gets deleted. If I uncomment those lines,

Analog FXO Woes Continue
I've been struggling with a test * install for a couple months now in a
small office and am just about ready to give up on it. It's not that the
system itself is a problem. I've got everything (attendant, voicemail,
FXS extensions, Cisco and Polycom hard-IP phones, and 2 VOIP carriers)
working except for the frigging analog FXO interfaces. These things are
driving me completely mad.

MockCov: Proof of concept
Hey list,
RSpec is great, I''ve been using it at work for a couple of months now. One
gripe I have is that I find it hard to know exactly to what extent my code
is covered by the specs. I am aware of RCov and Heckle; they''re great, but
I''d like to demonstrate another perspective of coverage analysis I''ve hacked
up.
The perspective is that of what is mocked and

What if, at least for Windows, someone wrote a simple application which when
associated with .ogg files and an .ogg file was opened simply read enough of
the ogg stream to identify the type of content and then
