Rails - Dec 2005 - help - how to I link to an external app and pass value?

Hello,

I have a list that I need to show a print column and have the print column call
an external web application and pass the id value.

How do I do this in rails?

this seems to work:

def print
    @receipt = Receipt.find(params[:id])
 link = "http://web/WebReceipts/WebForm1.aspx?id=" + params[:id]
    redirect_to_url(link)
  end
