It is MUCH faster than 0.20 and even my ''virusbarriers'' problem has improved dramatically. So another great job well done !! My only issue, which is really just an information issue for newbies like me, is that IF/when you change anything in the /config directory with the app running, you must restart it again. Had me stumped for a little while since that''s not the case with most (?) other parts of the code in the /app dir. I have to agree. This is a great system for doing dev work on. Hi Mats, Thanks very much for the compliments!> My only issue, which is really just an information issue for newbies > like me, is that IF/when you change anything in the /config directory > with the app running, you must restart it again. Had me stumped for a > little while since that''s not the case with most (?) other parts of > the code in the /app dir.I believe (and I''m sure someone will correct me if I am wrong) that that is a consequence of how rails works -> the config gets loaded once at startup while, if you are in development mode, the controllers, etc. will be loaded on every hit. changes to database.yml have to be reloaded, changes to routes.rb are loaded on-the-fly. Great stuff! One question: does anyone know how/if one can set environment variables within Locomotive, for example to set RAILS_ENV => production?
