And thank you kindly and sincerely in advance for contacting me. Good day/night. ---------------------------------------------- Jeffreydavidmorris, Dec-25 17:04 (PST): And note I am a newbie, hence, kindly, speak to me easy, break it down, understanding wise, so I can get it. Once I go through motion's, I can memorize it, but it's new to me. I'm running: (Linux - Ubuntu 10.04 - Gnome), and I have "Wine", version 1.2.2; a couple of thing's, IF, your able to provide me help, as I DO kindly appreciate it. And I am in Los Angeles area. a) when I open up (the internet explorer), I can't seem to use it like one would on say, XP, ie: lack of a address bar, right click of mouse - to access going back, as there's no visiable toorbar, button's, misc, you know. Just the window. I can't even access properties, per richt clicking and scolling down to properties - it doesn't open up. And which I notice, maybe which it's normal, but the background desktop goes blanks to say, Blue color, as if to be switching, as of course cause I'm using at the moment - the Wine internet explorer. Why, say this/that of Wine - also cause I want to gain 'Camfrog' program - Re: http://www.ehow.com/how_5628996_use-camfrog-linux-ubuntu.html. Which though I can appreciate other's hard work with sharing, I don't understand how to make it work. And under Wine, what about internet explorer - tool otion's, or even control panel, misc, you know. Alittle confusing, having this Wine? - per XP like feature's, but on a Linux - Ubuntu 10.04 - Gnome pc. But I'll try to keep my focus, clear understanding - 'in check'. Know this: While I WILL be eventually going back to XP, on a later bought new desktop pc/computer, I am using a friend's spare pc/computer that they've allowed me to use and do with as I like, so to speak, per say, hence, me using what I got/have to work with for now, until I get my own later xp and bought new desktop pc/computer. So just as you know. So yeah, I did get (initially) Wine from Ubuntu Software Center, but now I have to figure out how to have it work for me - aside from using/having access to use Ubuntu's side of thing's, like firefox. Thus, sort of being able to use alittle of this (?), and then being able to use alittle of that (?) - switiching back and forth, between any momentary task's I may be doing, ie: I may use Wine's 'ie' to access "Camfrog" or (?) else that I normally would (under, misc XP). But if I'm not, and doing (?) else, I can just use Ubuntu's side - firefox, misc. I just need to rig them/thing's up, so as I that (?) is set up and good to go and ready whenever I sit down at the pc, I can decide what task I may want to do.
