Feature Missing OUTBOX Folder

"Outbox" there i could paste mails which i want to sent out.
In some networks its not always available to sent mails via port 21, i

Is this a big afford or is it just alittle hack ? could it done via a

de-essing into speex?
are there plans to add "de-essing" as part of the speexenc procedure,
to make it possible to use lower quality compression without getting
those horrible computer-like "ess" sounds in the finished result?
like if you say "someone said the sun is shining", there is a lot of
ess sounds, and these will sound "computer-ish" at vbr qualities below
9.

Well, the endianness of a machine is only visible when you attempt to
cast multi-byte values to char pointers (input/output them). Unless you
do that, you have no way to know how your "int" value is represented...

de-essing into speex?
...manizing spx audio derived solely from pure human voices could be
accomplished by reconstructing the secondary peak but would introduce
a minimum latency far larger than several frame sizes (ie the length
of a human phoneme i.e. vowel consonant).
The filter also will most likely foul up the speech alittle cause
like most voice recognition software it can guess wrong an
reconstuct the wrong secondary peak onto the frames. (I'm guessing)
The filter also will most likely eat up a lot of cpu power like most
voice recognition software. (I'm guessing)

Offering streaming services
We're looking at selling streaming services to our customers. Right now,
we sell Real Media services with our hosting plans. But, we're having
more and more requests for a more robust offering. That means more
features and control at a better price.
We need a wholesale provider with infrastructure tuned specifically to
media streaming. We don't care whether it is on dedicated

Rotate basic plot (scatter) in R
Dear all,
I was trying to rotate a plot using R. I tried most of the examples offered
here in this forum, but for some reason it is not working for a Scatterplot
or in my case: plot (x,y). With a histogram I had no problems.
Is it not possible to rotate a simple plot?
Thanks a lot,
Michael

AGI why oh why?
...ng
just confuses me.
I have written a PHP class that does input and outs stuff to the AGI. It all
seems to work. However on a stream file command. It's a bit different.
If I have a php file that just plays a file and hangs up, the dial and hang
up are in the dialplan, so the php proggie looks alittle like this.
$ast->out("STREAM FILE home \"\"");
$ast->in();
If I run this, with AGI DEBUGGING on I get something like this.
AGI Tx >> 200 result=1 // last line of the variables passed in.
AGI Rx << STREAM FILE home ""
-- AGI Script call...

DAHDI TDM440E still has echo on bridged connections
"
Hello,
Strangely i purchase a TDM440E with the echo canceller onboard and I still receive a horrible echo and i'm only
using bridged connections between DAHDI/4 and DAHDI/1. I turned of echo cancellation on bridged connections which seemed to help alittle bit. I ran fxotune -i5 and setup fxotune -s to apply settings on startup, which has helpped but there is still echo on the begining of each call. Any idea's as to why there would be an echo at the beginning of a bridged conversation with echo cancellation turned off?
Also this only happens o...

Dovecot HA
Hello everyone,
Following my previous message about replication (I'm still stuck), I was
wondering in a more general way how to achieve high availability with
Dovecot, and how to store the mail data.
Do you have some thoughts about this ? Maybe one or two links leading to
people who already have ideas or experience ?
I don't host a big e-mail service, nor have a lot of clients

WoW and Zune
...comes with Linux, currently, and I hate how it groups some things. So if anyone is working on Zune for Wine I'd love to know about it. Or if there is a media player that works like the Zune player also, I'd like to know about it.
Secondly, I got WoW running using Wine, but the graphics are alittle messed up. I used the registry tweak for opengl but it didn't do anything to the game. I followed it to a T. My video card isn't fully supported by linux, I think. I get the little icon in the top right of the GUI that has a card and a lock beside it. I have the card enabled with the limit...

hardware / bandwidth requirements
Hi there!!
Any body can drop me some information about the hardware and bandwidth
requirements to setup an icecast server to stream real time video
using OGG/Theora? I'll setup an production server, and need to
calculate an estimate number of maximum clients connections to the
server.
thanks in advance,

I can confirm the issue with 2.6.32-696.18.7.el6.x86_64, but mine looks
