[Samba] Cached password updates with Winbind
If a user changes their password and the client looses network connectivity prior to them logging in again their local/cached password is not updated; they have to use their old password to authenticate. Is there a way to change this behavior so that the cached password gets updated upon a successful password change? Thx, Craig
On the smb.conf there is a parameter on the Global section called "winbind cache time" I think that is your answer.
