Hi, I was just wondering whether can we map a samba server as a drive? If can, it would be GREAT! This is because we can make users who log on to the server see different directories (like novell) and i thought it would be EXCELLENT if we can map the samba server as a drive itself. If we can, how can we achieve that? Thanks. adrian
you can map a samba server to a drive just like you'd map a windows-based server: net use h: \\servername\share or right click on "My Network Places" and select "Map Network Drive..." Hi Matthew, I was talking about mapping a samba server to a drive NOT a share from the samba server to a drive. net use h: \\servername Any way of doing that?
