Does the ext3 patch applies on top of the newly released 2.4.6 kernel (and/or the 2.4.6-ac1 variant) ? I want to upgrade to the new kernel and wanted to know before I run into problems if there are any known problems and if it's better to wait for an 'official' release. Thanks. Current CVS is against 2.4.6 and it's looking good - I expect we'll cut another point release this week, or you can roll your own from CVS.

I have to reboot Friday morning. Using CVS, I should just replace the 2.4.6 files, right ? The same files that were in 0.0.1 AKA loopbackD. And I hope cvs co ext3 is the right ext3. -- 0@pervalidus.{net, {dyndns.}org} Tel: 55-21-2717-2399 (Niterói-RJ BR)

You can either fix that manually or wait for the next official ext3 patch --- CVS is already using 2.4.6. Cheers, Stephen

BTW, what happened to the versioning scheme that'd be used by ext3 - 1.0 for 2.2 and 1.1 for 2.4. Am I missing something ? -- 0@pervalidus.{net, {dyndns.}org} Tel: 55-21-2717-2399 (Niterói-RJ BR)
