Samba Folks, I have a major problem with Samba 2.2.8 randomly dropping network connections on our Solaris 2.8 SUN systems and could use some help. On a random basis Samba will drop network connections and not allow them to re-established until the PC system is rebooted. Thank you in advance for any help. The disconnect error is typically a broken pipe error: 2003/02/21 09:42:03, 0] lib/util_sock.c:write_socket_data(499) write_socket_data: write failure. Error = Broken pipe Samba will not allow the user to reconnect until the PC is rebooted, here is the Samba error log: [2003/04/01 09:05:37, 0] smbd/reply.c:reply_sesssetup_and_X(912) restrict anonymous is True and anonymous connection attempted.
