i wanna umount a smb mounted directory when the host is turned off
it says "resource busy" when i umount.. how to do it?

When you get that message there is a process still accessing the mount, and you must remove that process before umounting. When the server is shut down processes tend to hang on smbfs. That is probably what has happened to you. If you wait long enough they will time out.
