samba - Jul 2002 - Getting samba to require authentication on every connection

I am using Samba Version 2.2.5.
I would like Samba to prompt my clients for authentication every time they
connect.

I tried using the "revalidate" param but it does not seem to work, its
gives
the following error in my log:

[2002/07/04 15:42:06, 0] param/loadparm.c:map_parameter(2065)
  Unknown parameter encountered: "revalidate"
[2002/07/04 15:42:06, 0] param/loadparm.c:lp_do_parameter(2740)
  Ignoring unknown parameter "revalidate"


Has anyone some insight into this?

We actually do - but windows automaticly supplies a password, so the
user never sees it.  You might see if some fun&games with security=share
solves the problem, but this is a client, not a server problem.  (Which
makes solving it from the server end a real bugger).

Becouse it doesn't exist...
