I'm using nvidia-current for the drivers and nvidia-glx-185 (which appears
to be the latest although I did see mention of version 195 somewhere on the
internet).

Can you post your xorg.conf, Config.wtf (or at least the relevant parts of it)
and anything else that may be useful (glxinfo output?) please. I'd really
appreciate it.

Also, do you remember any settings or changes you did after the basic install?

I still have to tweak my SLI setting (currently set to "on" which
apparently isn't a valid value) and may try experimenting with some of the
other nvidia-xconfig settings.

Can you tell me on which server do you play ? I want to test it myself with wine
3.29 if it's really working. I think my server's launcher.exe is not
letting me connect to the server. When I'm running Wow.exe ori launcher.exe,
I'm getting all the start things working, and when I put my pass and user
and push the login button, bang! crash.

I use the blob From nvidia direct, I don't use the ones provided by
ubuntu.  I also use beta drivers.  I did nothing except change
Config.wtf to use OpenGL.

What model nvidia card do you have, those driver numbers seem low but I 
think different batches of card models end up with different driver 
numbers. My card is a 460 and my driver version is 275.21. That is a 
distro installed/updated driver, I think there is a newer one up at the 
the nvidia website.

Also, what version of Wine are you using? I saw a nice FPS boost in WoW 
when I moved up to 1.3.28.
