Check the firewall settings on both the pc and the router. They may be set to
not allow https protocols.
Look in the Window's Firewall settings on the pc. Make sure your browsers
and any other programs that require internet access have been listed in section
that gives permissions to access the internet.
Your router will also have a firewall, and may be set to not allow the secure
connections. This you will have to check from the browser access window.
Also check the settings on your IE browser to see what security level is set for
the internet. You may have to add the root address for the sites you are trying
to access to the trusted sites list in IE. This will then allow the sites to
connect when they would otherwise be restricted by the security settings. :P
