I know that Norton might rock, but myself personally, I can't tolerate the way it uses all of my ram and slows my computer down. I use spy bot, but that isn't enough. Is there anyone out there who knows of an antivirus program that will not eat up my bank account or my computer's capacity to function at a normal rate? Thank you for your time......

There are many types of malware. Viruses and Trojan Horses are two of them. Can you specify what type of malware you are talking about? James McKenzie

if your talking about a windows installation, i suggest Avira. its free, has one of the highest detection rates for AV, and it takes almost NO resources to run the active guard. (AV scans will muck your computer a small bit, but not much.) Ive been using avira in conjunction with Spbybot and SUPERantispyware for years, and ive only ever gotten one virus that couldnt be easily removed with one of those tooles.
