wine users - Dec 2009 - Event viewer/logs

Hello,
FYI - super new here and I am walking into a project that is partially completed
but a bit of a mess, so either I need a tip or kick in the right direction.

Issue:

I have wine installed ( version 1.1.18).  on a debian version of linux.  The
windows environment has be moved over and is running the applications required
for the project.  What I am required to do is capture the event logs created by
the applications ( which would be services in windows).

My problem is I can't seem to determine where these files are, or if they
even exist.  I have skimmed through the documentation and nothing seems to
capture my attention in this area.

If someone could direct me to the proper documentation or if there is an
alternative solution to this because WINE does not support this, your opinion
would be greatly appreciated.

Event logging isn't really implemented at the moment.

If you set WINEDEBUG=+eventlog, the information will be printed to the
standard error stream.

When I did some further investigation I was coming to that conclusion.  I just
needed some verification as my knowledge of the product is at a infantile stage.
