I have an application (PDF-XChange PDF viewer) which I use to review papers.
THis should be done anonymously, but PDFXChange uses the username in the
comments ("comment from rkrug").
I resolved this, by creating a user called anononymous on linux and to log in as
that user to do the reviews. But this is getting annoying.
Therefore my question:
Is it possible to change the username of the wine installation from the Linux
username to an arbitrary one?

If you run winecfg, you can set your name and company in the About tab. Have you tried using that?

So - is it possible to change the login name in wine?>
