i'm running ubuntu 8.10, and i was wondering if theres a way to make it so windows programs with autorun scripts can start when i put the disc in. if its supposed to automatically start, why isn't it?

so does that mean ubuntu (gnome) can't autorun windows CDs with wine?
ok i suppose thats a good thing its delayed then - ubuntu seems to release things before they actually work. since i know i don't have any programs with security issues and don't plan to get anything new from anyone any time soon, are you aware of anything i can do whether its safe or not? i will not hold this question against anyone who answers it if it fails.
